Scratching a T3 Cali itch

I'm also keen to scratch the itch and have been looking on local classified sites.

I came across this at €5500 - It's a 1977, owner says it's been rebuilt as new but still I think it's a bit pricey.

I've owned a few Guzzis and still have my LM2 which I've had from new, however, any advice on what I might look for to try to determine if it's a sound rebuild would be appreciated.

The seat is all wrong I know.

She didn`t seem to mind too much. It`s been amazing really. She has gone from being scared of bikes to enjoying our days out. We are saving for a longer Euro trip when the lad finally buggers off to Uni. Got several grand in the kitty already so we won`t be roughing it!

Pretty much the same story here, Amanda loved going on the back, it was me that hatted it as she slid down the slopping seat pushing me into the tank yet again .........

I remember as a schoolboy, I kept in my desk 'The Observer Book of Motorcycles' and the T3 page was the one I would drool over and wish to own one day. That day still hasn't come but I truly was 'awe struck' by this beauty.

The nearest I ever got to owning one was in my 3 Cali 3's over the years , which wasn't really close at all!:blast

Another bike that struck me back then , and in my little book, though not for the same reasons, was the Van Veen OCR.

A cracking bike, Devon! :thumb
