Broken adjusting knob

There must be plenty of people who have fitted a GSA screen in place of the standard one and IF they did the job correctly they would have replaced these two adjusting knobs/screws with longer ones - thus they should have a couple of standard ones left over; I did just that, but it was some years ago and i cannot find the old standard bolts. Just look at some of the threads about screen improvements - you might find someone with two spare adjusting knobs.

All of my 1200Gs's have had dome nut on the end of the bolts.

My current 2009 GSA also has them, but the bolts on the GSA were continually working loose.

So I removed the dome nuts and replaced them with nylocs screwed all of the way down to act as lock nuts as I never adjust the angle of my screen.

As an aside: I swapped over to the new three-winged knobs recently. They are a huge improvement over the old variety.
