Screen choices.....for the 'n'th time no doubt - sorry.

I managed to get an MRA Vario Screen and I guess I was jus lucky, the upper screen was at its lowest setting and the main screen at mid-point and it is easily the best screen I have tried, with or without Tobinators. I'm currently running without Tobinators but will retain them for Winter mode when I put the Wunderlich semi-barn door fairing back on.

I've moved my vario again and now the main screen is on the lowest (ie. angled back towards me) setting and the top screen is at its highest setting. This keeps most bugs off my visor. When it rains I push the top screen down to its lowest setting as this lets me turn my head to 'blow' the rain drops from my visor.

Works for me.

Now what other bits and bobs can I buy ????

Got bored again so removed the top part of the vario screen. Gave it a slight tilt and it's a lot better. The way I'm going I can see myself going 'bareback' (ahem ) and doing away with a screen altogether.

Another vote here for the Wunderlich screen / Tobinator combination. I also have handlebars from the R1150R which are narrower and I prefer these to standard. Picture shows my previous 1150, but handlebars and screen were swapped to the new 1150 when I got it.

After a ride out with a group from Balderstons I think I've found the definitive screen answer.

Unfortunately it's attached to an RT

fitting an adventurer screen is worthwhile - loads less buffetting and rain. Also not outrageously expensive either. Just make sure you get the correct spacer kit & bolts as well.
