Noticed numerous tiny star cracks on my original screen around the mounting holes.
Bikes now 6 months out of warranty but asked for a goodwill claim.
Was advised by service manager that it's best to take it to supplying dealer as it comes out of a goodwill pot & goodwill costs the dealer..
Anyway, they applied for it & was accepted with a small fitting charge.
They also informed me that the screens have been changed & now bigger/stronger mounting holes.
I dread to think what may happen if eventually the screen were to crack & come loose..
So guys, check your screen mounting areas, can't be too careful..
