Okay, after 2 hexhead GSA's and many thousands of very happy miles, I've taken the plunge and I've just taken delivery of a 2017 triple black GSA 😃 - that 3.9% PCP was just too good to miss.

However, the screen falls far short of the hexheads. So after a search on here it seems it will be the cymarx screen brace with either the tinted Puig touring or the Givi.

I'd be very grateful it someone could give me some measurements of these screens, their views compared to the standard GSA screen other other options to consider again with dimensions.

I'm 6ft and have the screen on the highest setting at the moment.

Cheers guys.

Bad pic but this is the GSA screen vs Puig tinted 90% touring screen.

Cheers that's quite helpful. I wanted the dark tint but was concerned that I'd need it fully up and it could be too dark to see through. Is this a problem for you ?

Same problem even I have with the standard screen. With my earlier GS the MRA XScreen Sport worked well. With the GSA, I have just ordered the MRA XScreen Tour (the larger one). Check out that option as well.

I'm aout to buy a Madstad- they don't have it on their site at the moment but they do one for the GSA LC.

I've had Madstad screens on most of my previous bikes and they are the best I've found.
On 'looking through the screen'- you probably won't be, unless you are really short.

Only ridden once since fitting and it was at night so not the best test but it seemed ok. I think it will be fine, can just lower for night time if it's that bad. I have a triple black too so had to go with the 90% tint!

I've fitted a Puig screen to mine. This is the 3rd time I've fitted this screen to a GS as I've never found another screen that offers the same level of comfort as this one. I'm 6'2 and have my seat height set at high.

Sorry its not a great picture, and I have no idea why its loaded on its side...

This bodes well for me- we are about the same height and I have quite a bit trouble with turbulence on most bikes.
The GSA is better than most- the worst was a KTM1190 that I ended up getting rid of only because of turbulence issues.

Picture is good !!
Why did you go for the version with the extra lip ?

I had the same screen fitted to my 2015 GSA hence I purchased another one for the TB as it was perfect on that bike as well. I've also fitted the Cymarc screen brackets to give it extra stability if need be when fully extended, but its mostly left in the lowest position. When in this position I can keep my visor up with no discomfort what so ever.

Have fitted the tinted puig touring, which has the tilting spoiler too on my '16 GSA.
At 6'2" I keep it at low position and can ride at 70 with visor open on my lid.
Never found the need yet to adjust it higher, but can if wish.
Very stable with cymarc brackets, wouldn't be without.
Dark tint, forget it, cos you can't lower it any more and visibility would become an issue.
Highly recommended, pics somewhere on site here, just check my earlier posts for some.
Enjoy your new bike, loving mine!

Sounds ideal- looking forward to getting it.

Pyramid at Gainsborough sell Puig screens, might be worth contacting them to see what they have in stock so you can see before you buy..... I have the tinted Puig touring screen without the top spoiler but still big improvement over std item.

That's interesting, I'm only 30 mins away from pyramid. I feel a trip coming on !!

Same setup as me. Puig tinted touring and Cymarc brackets. 6'5" and I run it on the highest position. Can still see through it to check for debris at junctions. Watch the Cymarc handles don't vibrate loose.
