Screen Height

Does anyone else wish their screen was a bit higher? I had only ever test ridden an ADV before I bought an LC,my first BMW, and realised the screen was not like the ADV.
I keep checking Nippy Normans but no one has made a replacement yet. (bit early I suppose)
P.S I am not a giant, just 6ft and have my seat in the low position.

Done over 30k with a GSA screeen and winglets, IMO although the LC screen is smaller I reckon after 2000m it seems quieter and more effective than the GSA screen. I'm the same height and normally wear Arai Tour X for what is worth.

Thanks for that, It was last september that I tested the ADV and it was such a departure from my kawasaki ZZR that I marvelled at the silence where intercom use was impossible above 75mph before.

I believe there might be a taller screen on Touratech? I'm sure I saw one there yesterday.

You could always get a screen spoiler from Nippys.

Seriously!!!!!!! Try lowering the screen until you find maximum comfort. I have owned one standard GS and four GSAs , I test rode the LC for about an hour and found the screen to be actually better than the GSA. I would not be looking to change it.

The LC screen is the best so far for the rider, no turbulence at all for me, but I think that this is at the expense of more pillion noise.
