Out for a ride Yesterday on my GSA when I noticed the screen had dropped down looked down to see the lower left bracket had broken 
Took it easy riding home but not easy enough it would seem and the right side bracket has now broken.
I have done 26000 miles on the bike and it is three and a half years old, have contacted Bahnstormers (My bike is in with them next week for the recall work and sharft )but not holding out much hope of the extended warranty covering the cost but finger crossed
once fixed a strengthening bracket is on my to buy list

Lesson learned ! Not covered by Warranty according to Bahnstomers but the parts for both sides including the VAT £45 obviously fitting myself. £120 if they fit so not too bad for BMW prices.
