Screen spoiler?

Yeah - had one from my Africa Twin days - didn't help at all. Tobinators were the answer. Suppose you could use it with the Turbs, if you are 6' 10" tall.

Haven't tried the TT one but I'm thinking about getting one of those 'laminar lips' :)

I've read mixed reviews about Toby's, the T/T spoiler looked a good option.

I need to sort something out as I'm getting a bit of a battering by the wind, not as if I'm tall either (5'10)! Will check out the Laminar :thumb

You could try this stuff, I've got it on my 1100 with a tall screen and it does most of what it says on the tin.

That's very interesting - cheers :thumb

Problem is, it's as least as much the vacume behine the screen that does that, as the height. Top bits don't help with that. trust me, the 'binators will work, and they make the screen highter anyway.

To be honest I've often thought of selling my tobinators as for quite a while I had left them off the bike as I couldn't get them set up correctly. An MRA Varioscreen was quite good but not quite there. After a pheasant / varioscreen interface ( ) I'm back with the standard screen with tobinators fitted. It's not bad but there is still some annoying buffeting.

This current setup reduces the vacuum effect behind the screen and almost clears the top of my head. Something like the laminar lip, which claims to smooth out the turbulent air coming off the top of the screen and gives a little bit more height sounds like it could be the solution for me.

Fingers crossed :)

i see your problem. forgot to mention that I an on an Adv, so of course the screen is different. it's wider - dunno if it's taller?
