screen winder knob - is this broken?

cleaning the bike the other day - can anyone tell me if this is 'normal' or is it broken?

Its the screen winder knob on my GSA - it doesn't appear to have lost any rigidity but this looks like a crack or break rather than a manufactured 'gap' - especially as it seems to come back together and the crack 'disappears' on the end closer to the knob.

That said, the right side of the 'crack' does look like its manufactured that way

are yours the same?

Normal, my GS is the same. Just give it a blast with wd40.

Just looked at my 2017 GS TE. It's the same as yours. Looks normal to me.
