Anyone know where I could get some "UK-sourced" screen winglets - you know - the bits of polycarbonate that you can attach to the screen to deflect a bit more of the windblast ?

I see the R1150RT has them as a standard fitment (or maybe an option ?).

The big Wings and big Jap tourbikes often use them.

Cheers

Red Bull gives you wings - especialy if you mix it with copious quantities of vodka?

Winglets

I hav'nt seen them on a GS but i used to have them on my K1100
i reckon it would'nt be hard to make some up yourself
If you want some perspex i'll borrow some from work ;)
BTW these look handy

If you mean the bit that goes on top of the screen, Touratech at Bracken do 'em

Mark,

Cheers. Yes, I agree. I'd never seen those before.

I'm talking to a guy with an ST1100 tonight who might know where to get them. They're supposed to be like tear-shaped perspex with special clips which attach onto the sides of the main perspex screen. They're supposed to be adjustable so you can "trim" the airflow. I've got a Cee Baileys screen on at the moment which is pretty good now I've managed to jiggle it into the "furthermost upright" position (which defied belief but oddly it works although it does look a bit weird head-on) .......... but there's still little whippy wind devils coming round the side which I reckon those winglets would see-off.

If all fails, I will take up your kind offer.

Shuck R :- ... yes I know the ones you mean although they weren't the same thing I was after. Have you ever tried them and if so, do they work ? I recall Lord S. weer selling one a while back.

Roger - yes indeed. Red Bull does the job !. Especially blended with other (legal) substances.
