Just picked up the '12 last week.
Now, I'll admit it was pretty windy, but there was a lot of buffeting which I'd not had since I put Tobinators on the 1150.
So, What have you done to your screen to improve things?

I'm 6'4" by the way, like the seat on high setting (for leg room), in fact thinking of raising the seat an inch.

I tried everything, torbinators, tall screen, GSA deflectors, Laminor Lip...nothing really has worked, I'm not getting blown away, its just the noise...my solution has been good quality (3M) earplugs fitted correctly.

There are a lot of threads here for screens, people have very differing experience so basically you need to try a few and see what works for you, earplugs are the cheapest solution.

Givi 330 screen fitted with winglets............................... very different bike:thumb
Loads of stuff on here about 330 screens. You can genuinely lift visor at 90mph
and ride comfortably, although why you would I don't know:blast

Just gone the Givi 330 route and it is a great improvement (I was looking to reduce noise too).

Are the winglets worth having? cost vs improvement

Chris

It's the Givi AF330 airflow screen you need, not the 330DT, as it allows you to adjust the screen height to suit your needs e.g. low in the summer when you need a cooling breeze through your helmet vents :thumb2

Better than a GSA screen in my experience, although it doesn't look as good.

Screen spoiler

Been riding for over 30 years, 10 years on GS's x4, few years back 2 x Pan Euros etc.

By far the best Wind protection I have ever had in all the years on a bike is the GSA screen with a screen spolier, period!

fitted a spoiler after buying it off here, no wind noise, no bufferting, nothing. Best bit of all? can hear the exhaust note better on my Twin Cam GSA!

pic attached......

Just my penny's worth :rob

TD

Ps I am 6ft 6in
