As you have gathered by now, it's all very much on the individual's size and preference.
In other words, you're just going to have to spend the money and try it.
Had a Givi, but wasn't keen. Too high for me, even on lowest setting. I like to see what crap I'm about to run over on the road. Also found that in heavy rain, it forced water down the inside of my visor. Your engine will be much louder, too!
Now use an OEM screen in the better months and the taller, cheap screen available on eBay in winter.
Do fancy a tinted standard one...

Cant decide on Givi airflow or MRA Vario ? or is their another popular choice

Givi Air-flow. I sit tall and it's gives me no turbulence.

Standard way to much wind noise with a shark helmet
But givi causes more engine noise but works best with visor open

And exhaust noise! And front tyre noise. But for that lot I'd be doing 70 mph while listening to the birds singing.

The big win from Givi is reduced buffeting and wind vibration. Bikes are just noisy so still need the ear plugs.

I was out on mine this morning with all of the cosmetic bodywork removed. Noise was much the same but I now had some cooling air around the chest area. Very nice.

I bought the MRA X-creen spoiler to put on my GSA, works a treat because you can angle it however you want.

How much did you pay for your MRA spoiler
Is it the standard touring one?

Funny reading this, mine came with a Puig barn door and I've just taken it off and put the OEM one back on to try. I can see that if your very tall, a higher screen might be better but if you're 5'10" like me then the OEM works just fine and looks much better. In the upper position it's great for the motorway & down its better in town when you want a bit more wind in your face.

I think a tinted OEM would look even better which will probably be my next purchase.

I have the MRA X Screen as well but I get buffeting at all speeds

I have the screen on max height and angled at same as lower screen .

Any tips on how to improve ? I noticed yours is set different I'm 5ft 10" though longer in body than legs !

I thought it was JUST ME I have a shark evoline series 3 and it seems very noisy ???

Depends how tall you are. I got quite a bit of buffeting with the standard GS screen so bought a Givi Airflow. My head vibrated so much that I could focus on the road. Bought a GSA screen but wasn't much better so reverted back to the standard screen. However, I am 6'8" so none of them are really designed for my height rider. Least amount of turbulence when I have the screen set low.

Probably not much help.

I think that's the key there. You either have to go for a full touring screen that deflects the air above your helmet, or have the screen height low so your helmet is in the full airstream. There are pro's and con's of both but I find that having your helmet partially in the airflow is what gives rise to turbulence.

Don'y bother the OEM GSA screen is a barn door that causes turbulence as air tries to fill the space behind the screen. It's also expensive and don't even ask what that top mount extension tube costs.

The Givi will be overall less money and 100% better in use.

I really don't understand why bike manufacturers make such a poor job of screen design. It can't be style because neither of the GS screens are especially stylish and the GSA screen can't be cheap to make with all its fancy spoilers that do precisely all of nothing useful.

Beemer could have saved a fortune by just buying from Givi.

The Givi screen could be mounted higher. Raise the front up to 3" with Tobinators and the back with 25mm x 3mm flat steel strip.

You might also find the Givi is better tilted as far forwards as possible and the slider relatively low. I'm only 5ft 8ins but at private road speeds mine is on standard mounts, the slider is better at the lowest point. At normal speeds, I have it it up about 30mm.
