Thanks in advance,

Either you can buy a nice new set of Keihan headers which I just happen to have in the garage :augie or you can use a brillo pad, metal polish and elbow grease:thumb

What every BMW owner needs - "Blue Job".

It's a small tub of paste that you use, still with elbow grease, but it really gets downpipes un-blued - but you've got to work at it!!

Search eBay - about £10 a tub - but it lasts ages.

Wouldn't be without it!!

Mike

i'm gonna regret askin but go on how much!!??

I'm sending the headers from my Buell XB9SX to Camcoat - only £80 to have them coated in matt or shiny silver and they won't discolour again.

For my GS I reckon it would be worth trying to polish them and save the money, but the Buell headers are shit-brown colour anyway, so now they'll be nice and silver to match the rest of the engine/bike

My 02 bikes headers went a nice blue and seemed to be chromed, later ones have gone a shitty brown, which makes me think they're less chromed. Hence the question, how old is the bike? But you don't want to seem to say how old it is, so wonder wheels will clean stainless headers up nicely, and probably fcuk up chromed ones nicley too. Your call :)

he has an 02 blue white ,like mine:D:augie
so elbow grease is needed if you like that sort of thing.
leave them dirty ,then they will match that crappy ypiece and silencer

Ah the last of the decent 1150's ;)

Elbow grease it'll need to be then :( And then they'll go blue in another few thousand miles :comfort

HAHA, i'm gonna do the y piece aswell, i don't want to put my shiny "as new" silver engine bars around a pair of dirty looking headers!!
