Can't see 'User tabs'.. had this before and SP2 update solved the problem:confused:
Installed new Hard drive couple weeks ago & tabs not displayed .. last night they appeared.. today they are gone.
Firewall settings all OK..hadnt changed settings when tabs appeared... cleared History/ Cookies ..makes no difference..

I know it's my PC as Log in at work OK.. any idea's at to what problem is?

Totally disabling Firewall/Anti Virus doesnt solve

Somehow, your settings have changed Colin (doh, states the obvious  )

I have no idea why......do you perhaps have windows updates running in the background ?

It's possible one of them has increased your security settings or Java settings.

Anyway, go through all the normal suspects..Internet options, enable java applets, check through all the odd tabs of your firewall again and so on.......it'll be in there somewhere ;)

Doh...I've read it again..start with Java settings under Internet options as the firewall /av isn't doing it.

Cheers Bill.. checked settings all OK, turned off Auto update.. no change.. downloaded Flashplayer.. nothing:rolleyes:
As you say it'll be there somewhere... just a case of finding it

:beerjug:

One suggestion for you Colin- not a fix but a possible work-around ....

If you use IE, you could do a lot worse than getting Mozilla Firefox...it's got some superb bits and bobs in it that make it way better than IE (the biggest being opening pages in tabs...take a look at their site to saee what I mean.

Changing your browser might well also give you all the buttons back ;)
