Just how comfy are these seats compaired to original seat and do they stay comfortable ,as my 1200gs seat is getting very uncomfortable on long trips on my lower buttocks after 3 hours in the saddle ,ive only covered 17000 on it and dont cherish another 17000 with this seat!!!! :toungincheek

They're very comfy but my one has developed a tear in the material, only about 3000 miles into ownership. Also the piping has faded. Very disappointing, they are serious cash and I'm going back to them on it.

I've done around 2.5k with my Sargent seat now, most of which has been on two trips, with a couple on longish days in the saddle (10-12 hrs).
My standard GS seat was very uncomfortable after about 90mins so I managed to locate a second hand Sargent seat. When first getting on I was finding it difficult to understand why people raved about them as I felt it was no more comfortable than the standard seat, but after a while they come into their own and appear to mould to you as they warm up,even after 10 hrs in the saddle my bums a bit numb but not painful.
Most probably the best mod i've bought.

Steve

Often do porthmadog to southampton or haydock to southampton without stopping, they are excellent.
