Seat alterations

I have the standard seat (1200GS) and find it uncomfortable after fairly short rides, so I'd like to have it altered. It'll probably need more / different foam and re covering.

I've heard of a guy in Huddersfield called Tony Archer, who apparently sorts car upholstery, with bike seats being a small percentage of his work.

Has anyone heard of him or anyone else in the Halifax / Huddersfield area with a good reputation?

Tony Archer did a GSX 1400 seat for me. A first class job and well worth the money.

Had both my 1150 and 1200 rebuilt with gel inserts and re-upholstered by Melvin Hunter. I find his seats to be extemely comfortable and well worth the money. Do a search on this site for pictures an other opinions.

Ill confirm that melvin hunter seats are v comfy,just had my 1150 gs done and with the new system 5 helmet ( very quiet) tobinators.tall screen,lowered footpegs,raised handlebars my bike is now not too bad to ride, once the backache clears up and the ringing in my ears stops.

everytime I try motorcycleseatworks in Wyke website it jams up, get a blank page, does not load and its nothing to do with my pc
