Seat cushion - Air Hawk?

I am looking for a seat cushion for my Racing Kayak & I am thinking that one of these Airhawk medium Neoprene seat cushions could do the job I reckon that I would need the neoprene for durability.
At the moment my seat is made of hard carbon fibre & I get dead legs after about 1.5 hours. I am trying to do some serious long distance training & my arse & legs get so painful I have to stop.
When I looked for these cushions on-line they seem to be about €170. Does anyone know where I could get one that is much cheaper?
Any help or advise appreciated.

Would a lump of 'memory foam' not be a cheaper way around this ? Lidl are doing pillows at the minute & I'd say you could cut it down to suit. It's not like aesthetics are important if it's in the bottom of a kayak

I can't really imagine using an Airhawk with a K1. You'd be raising the seat height of course, so it will be a bit more unstable and just a bit "floaty". You wouldn't want just a piece of foam as it would be soaked pretty quickly even with a spraydeck.

You might want to have a look at the MarkGees seat options. Mark is a good guy and my old racing partner and adversary.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried wooden seats before & I know that the air seat might be a bit more unstable but I need to sort something out. My surrent seat pad is not great but without it I only last 15 mins. Someone suggested a Thermarest seat pad but I might keep looking.
Would anyone have an air seat pad that I could try out to see if it would work without making me too unstable????

I've still got my old Struer Hunter K1 with a nice wooden seat. I've always found it pretty comfortable and I survived many, many miles on it.

Thanks MasterDabber, but I have tried a few wooden seats & they have not worked for me
I think I will have to try a few more seat pads before I give up.
