Full of seams … not good … chaffing:):):thumb
To add the front bit looks like a pumped fanny , also the waist band is a sweat trap..

Have you tried them or are you making assumptions ?
They don’t chaff at all,as they are specifically designed not to and they kept me pretty cool when I wore them last summer all through France to the Alps and back.Brilliant kit.

No just looking at the picture and the thick elastic waistband looks like a heat sink , sure they are fine but the BMW ones are a uniform material , almost like tights ..
Im sure they are great but the BMW ones are one material not a mix of bits, as long as your happy :thumby:
I have tried similar and that why I went to the BM ones

you do know the purpose of a heat sink is to dissipate heat, don't you?

I think the Moto-Skiveez are a bit more specialised compared to the BMW ones-The Skiveez have a nicely padded ‘seat’,a bit like in cycle shorts and this pad is different in the three models, taking into account the seating position, hence Adventure,Sport or Cruiser models.

The BMW pair are just for any bike,by the sounds of it.Do they have any padding in ?
They may well be a bit cooler than the Skiveez as they are designed to keep you comfy on a long day and not just cool.

I used mine on 2500 mile trip last year and they were brilliant.
That was on my H2 SZ so used the Sport ones.

Seeing this reminded me I needed another pair of Adventures so I’ve also gone and ordered a Cruiser pair to use on the HD.May as well !!

The Adventure Bike Shop has them and get 10% off using STAYSAFE code.
Some sizes sold out till end of June but we ain’t going far at the mo !

But again your adding another intrusion into your bottom area , okay if your on a push bike , im not saying it does not work for you , but the BMW ones are so simple , no added bits , just seamless and inobtrusive with no areas to cause discomfort.
Its just my observation not a fight starter … cabin fever

Whatever works best for you at 138 mph :-)

So now I need underwear aswell :blast

that would be an insulator, surely? The skin is the heat source

Blimey , I was trying to say that a wide elastic (and thick looking ) waist band will , against the other thin material of the pant would be a source of heat / sweat build up. The thinner type that I use does not have the said thick area of waist band so thus would be cooler allowing more heat to work away from the skin thro the waist band and out of your riding gear , the thick one would hold the heat / moisture more causing discomfort. They work brilliant with leathers on .
If my original reference was incorrect , I shall allow myself to be whipped by a superior being ….and sent to the corner to be re educated . Private school was such fun I forgot to learn anything to busy playing cricket ...:thumb
