Does anyone know if the Wunderlich 'cool cover' seat covering, as advertised on Nippy Normans, is the same as the Cool Covers Ltd seat covering (just re-branded)..............?

They're not bad, but luckily they only sent one pair, so I'll hang on to them.

I just bought a pair of the cool covers from Gary (SkyGod) on here, original unused and got the pair for £80. Surprised they were up for sale for so long before i managed to get them. Haven't tried them out yet but another member on here has looked at them and compared them to his chinese versions and concurs with the general opinion that the cool covers versions are constructed better and fit the seat better...

I would probably not have bought one, but my 640 came with one fitted, now wouldnt be without it, they do work, they are very robust and add to comfort as well as keep you cool, dont know about the cheep Chinese ones the one on the bike is an original cool cover

I've got the cheap China ones on mine that keep the air flow going, and also bought a Gel Pad for a horse from E-bay for £15. Cut it down to seat size (enough for front and back, put the net thing over the top, bingo.
Was out today in 30 deg heat for 10 hours in my jeans ... no sore rear end and everything nice and cool

I can vouch for the efficacy of Cool Covers’ seat cover thing. If I have been ripped-off for the difference between buying one in the UK (supporting BRITISH, nay ENGLISH enterprise *) as opposed to some Chinese sweatshop merchant in the wet market, so be it. But hey, I ride a 1600, so what do I know about such a ‘technical’ subject?
