Seat padding / upholstery in Surrey/SW London

Hi all,

I desperately need my seat padding as it's gotten so uncomfortable to ride.

I usually go to Lee at Viking Vinyl (who is great!) but they're closed this w/e and I won't be able to get back down for a while

Anyone know of a seat upholsterer in Surrey or SW London area?

If you're stuck , as an emergency , I went to my local "go outdoors" and got a " "self inflating pillow" it's about a foot square and an inch thick or thereabouts cost was less than a fiver ,I went for a blast on Sunday bungeed this onto my (homemade) lowered seat and my arse hasn't been so comfy for a long time !!! It's a permanent fixture now , and if you want to take it off just open the valve squash the air out and it's the size of a small thermos flask.... Fekkkin great ( and cheap)

Yep, good short term fix, though I really want a permanent solution (not least because I'm worried about some thieving scumbag nicking it when parked up in Soho!)

he's in Studley Farm Industrial Units, it's between Chobham and Knaphill just after the RSPCA place and before the bends on the left....

I'm heading out that way later I'll have a look he, does cars and custom leather work. he should be able to help....

Yep - I've arrange to go see them around 10am tomorrow.

Don't know who I spoke to (forgot to ask!) but he said he'd be there tomorrow himself and he might be able to do my seat while-I-wait, kinda thing.

Swung by today and they did a great job!

I met (I think!) Andy.

I left my bike with him and £40 and 1 hour later it was all done - a little sculpting and a little padding.

Not been for a long enough ride yet, but it certainly feels comfier!
