Well I’ve just added the wonderlich seat raise bobbins ( the hole in them is off centre, and supplied with other base of seat push in rubbers)
I didn’t have a real problem with the seat on my R13GS, but though it did slope forwards a bit too much.

Only had a short ride on the bike, but I think it’s an improvement….. trip to Belgium in about a week will tell if it’s a vast improvement or not.
It was FAR cheaper than ordering a different seat

Will report back after my Belgium trip.

Agree - they make the angle of the seat better.

My concern was the whole thing wasn't quite supportive enough - I always felt like I was sliding off one side or t'other.

I tried that on my 1300GSA, it improved posture, but highlighted how uncomfortable the factory foam is, for me.

Over a 4 day trip a couple weeks ago I found that the seat leveling kit made a seat that became uncomfortable within an hour, now comfortable all day. The constant pushing against the bars trying to keep from sliding forward is now gone so even my hands appreciate it. I grew to really like this motorcycle over those 4 days.

Finally took a breath and bought the Wunderlich seat.
Immediately felt better.
I decided on the low seat after trying the standard which was too high for me. The seating area is flat with no pressure points. Just been on it today for 2.5 hours and it was comfortable. Expensive but no regrets.
The green seat for my green bike looks great.

I'm glad the Wunderlich seat is working well for you, riding on a bike with an uncomfortable seat takes much of the pleasure away.

I've had some awfully uncomfortable BMW seats but the R1300's stock comfort seat after being leveled is anything but "extremely uncomfortable" for me, and I am pretty sensitive to poor seats. I've put aftermarket seats on most of the motorcycles I've had and all but two that I presently have, and was considering putting one on the R1300GS. What I liked about it is it's firm, wide enough, is heated, and matches the gray pattern up the tank. What I didn't like is it's sloped a little too much down to the tank. Also it's a bit crowned side to side rather than dished. The slope was uncomfortable plus I found myself pushing against the bars to stay at the back of the seat which was making my hands start to go numb after an hour unless I consciously took them off the bars occasionally to shake them. Leveling the seat a bit remedied me sliding forward plus pressing hard against the bars.

So now (for me) the shape and firmness is good and with the seat level I'm fine with it, just barely feeling a little discomfort after 2.5-3 hours and by then it's time to stop to refuel and stretch.
