Okay I know this isn't a technical question, but I've just picked up a very nice CCM R30, and was just thinking about insurance, I have my GS on BMW Motorrads own insurance and was wondering if they will allow another bike on the policy, anybody out there done it ?

And before the bloody moderator jumps in again and moves it, I suggest he makes a search on here first and removes the rest of the insurance query post's as well.

Oh and thanks to those who have allready replied

I believe you can add a second bike to the BMW Motorrad Insurance but only if it's also a BMW.

HTH

The first bike goes on at it's normal rate, the next three go on at £10.50 each.

They only allow four bikes on the policy and they must all be BMW.

I've had a 1200 Adventure, r100r (1,000 cc airhead) and two C1s on my policy for the last few years.

BMW insurance is superb !

They refused to cover my KTM and I'm sure they said BMW's only.

Correct. While they covered my 1200 and 1150 they would not cover my wr250.

Got a good deal from Lynbrook Insurance 01277 206 b285

Make sure you don't try using your no claims bonus on a second bike policy:rob
