Evening all,
I’m so chuffed that I just had to share.
I’ve finally removed the secondary air system from my 93 gspd, bought a used air box from motorworks and turned up some blanking plugs in stainless, lots of strong locative and copper washer should see it right, but what a difference easier start up, smoother tick over and throttle response, no annoying “tick tick tick” wow.

I did find that both gland fasteners were loose at the exhaust port, so may have caused some of the poor running but I can’t believe the difference, it’s like a different machine. If you haven’t done this yet do crack on, well worth the effort.
🤓

You could also fit the airbox from an earlier bike without the holes in it for the SAS connection

Yes, that’s what I did, £25, £5 for blasting, etch prime and satin black rattle cans, new rubbers and all is great🤓

Or go retro with this kit!
