I've recently bought a Garmin Zumo 660 and would like to mount it above the clocks on my '08 1200GS.

I was going to make my own bracket for a Ram mount but am concerned about security.

Am I limited to using a Touratech cradle and would one fit in this location?
I really can't be arsed having to take it off if I leave the bike unattended.
Any suggestions? :nenau

Take the unit off the bike - it only takes 2 seconds, and the 660 is fairly pocket-able.

I use a 550 in a Garmin mount, and don't even have the security screw fitted. It really isnt a problem

Thanks for the suggestion Blackal, but knowing my luck I would just end up dropping it if I took it off every time and tried to shove it in my pocket!
