Hi everyone,

Just looking onto ordering a sena s20 to work with my cousins smh-10

was wondering if Im on voice coms with him does it cut out or turn him down while the nav 5 gives it's instructions :)

just trying to decide wether to get the 20' or the 10' also has anyone had any issues with the 20 not wanting to stay attached to the mount?

Cheers,

Tom

My experience of Sena when connected to the Nav 5 GPS is that it over rides ongoing voice communications.

The answer is it depends!

The 20s supports audio multitasking so in theory should maintain comms when the Nav speaks. However, that doesn't work if you have paired the Nav as a phone, allowing you to control your phone through the Nav. It does work if you pair the Nav as a GPS device but you lose phone control via the Nav and also can't play music from it, but you gain keeping comms while nav speaks. Basically anything paired as phone has ultimate priority and will cut comms off.

With regards to the mount, the 20s is very secure. In fact it can be a bit stiff to get off even when pressing the release button on both of ours.

We had 10s before the 20s and they were very good. The 20s though have better range and audio quality. The ambient mode function is also very useful in petrol stations etc.

I've got the ten and no problems at all I'm gonna upgrade to the 20 thanks for the info.
