SENA SMH10 Dual

Hi,
We have just received our dual headsets and are both fitted in our Arai helmets. One to one conversation is fine, but when trying to pair to our Zumo 660 so we can listen to music etc., it will only pair with one helmet at a time.

Does anyone have any information of how to pair one Zumo to both headsets at the same time?

I think you'll find that it can't be done. The 660 supports pairing with one phone and one other audio device.

Thanks for your reply - we are not quite sure why they call it a DUAL if it doesn't pair properly with both headsets and sat nav/phone.
We may be going back to the good old autocom!

I don't think there is any bluetooth music device that will pair with 2 headsets at the moment so the failing is not with the Sena its with the music device.

If you and your other half have the same music taste then its obviously a problem. Personally, me and SWMBO have different music tastes and pair our individual iPhones to our respective Sena's allowing me AC/DC and her ABBA!!

Thanks for the info, have returned the SENA today and will probably look at either Starcom or back to the trusted Autocom.

Got round that one by using two of these and a spliiter lead coming out of the headphone socket...

I suffer a cycle of desire for a Bluetooth connection for my on-bike audio freeing me from a cable running from my lid to the bike, I view threads like these with a degree of envy. But then I think of the cost, the pairing issues and the fact that to be wireless it relies on batteries which brings me back to simply plugging in each time and not having to worry about all that. Call me a Luddite if you like

You're a Luddite.....I would like.

Seriously, the batteries on the Sena last easily all day talking duplex or listening to music/satnav, and I've had no pairing problems with an iPhone or a Nokia, and a Zumo 550. The unit cost me £150 as I bought a pair and split it with my brother riding partner, and after 8 years of wired AutoStarIntarideCom pain and frustration, the Sena has been a revelation.

No wires, no fuss, no alternator whine through my headset, no PTT one way chat, can charge it whilst in use if needs be, simple on/off, speak to others whilst off the bike, music from my phone if I want it, all bonus bonus.

Technology is meant to free us, not bind us, and I just get on the bike now and ride.

Just my 20p's worth.
