Hi,

Does anyone have an SMH10, if yes how good are they?

Also does anyone has one mounted on a BMW System 6 helmet, if so how well does it fit?

Cheers

I have system 6 and have just bought Cardo Scala G9.
It fits on the helmet using stick on mount the screw mount will not work. The microphone is just long enough to position correctly. When I was comparing bluetooth units I found that the G9 had the longest microphone so I would check smh10 as it may be bit short.

I liked the idea of FM radion on G9, but also liked the idea of the fog wheel of smh10.

I had autocom previously with bluetooth module and used with zumo 550 and phone. The G9 outperforms the autocom easily plus wireless.

Love my Sena.

They do various additional headsets, including an internal boom mike version.

I've fitted a Sena to my C3 and needed the mount with the internal boom. Had to use the adhesive mount too as the clamp just wouldn't fit.

It cost about £40 for the additional mount.

Once it's all on it works just fine.

Sent from my HTC Desire S

Just to help......:D

Fitted Interphone f5 to my Schuberth S2 and wifes Shoei xr1000.....
Easy to fit....used sticky pad on both helmets as clamp wont work.....
It's like a breath of fresh air compered to autocom....worked straight out the box....takes the same two seconds to plug the charger in after 9hrs use, as it does to plug autocom in every time you mount up........:blagblah
Bike to bike is a mile + depending on terrain.....just talk like yer on the phone.....no ptty better than vox bollocks.......things move on brilliant bit o kit.....expect the others are just as good though.....

I've got an SMH10, it's brilliant. I use it for GPS, Intercom (bike to bike), Phone, and music. Can't be bettered. I haven't got a system 6 (Shoei here), but I can't imagine there'd be any problems.

Many thanks for your replies.

Does anyone know where to get one in the UK or do you have to get them from the USA?

Can't see where you are but two wheel Trekkers do them on line or in the Essex area competitively priced, singles or doubles.

Got mine from 2 wheel trekkers advertised on here...in fact if you go to page 2 on this subject he's advertising them.... very pleased with mine after trying Autocom, Intaride and Starcom. It just works.

Just started using my Sena even though I purchased it well over a year ago

Really good piece of kit, fuss free solid Bluetooth link to my iPhone and volume plenty loud enough on 80% of max with earplugs in

Also very easy for use with glove on for skipping back and forth music tracks and voice activated dialling

A big :thumb2 from me

Could someone clarify on the Sena, if I'm listening to music from the 660, and SWMBO speaks to me , or I want to speak to her.. does it happen automatically or do I have to press buttons

That will depend whether you have it set to Auto Vox or Manual activation, I have mine set to manual....in any event, it cuts the music...

So it can be done then... as I don't want to be having to press buttons ... .On the Autocom set up I had satnav prompts, music from the satnav, and I could talk any time I wanted, or be talked to :blagblah and the music volume would drop while I spoke.

That its basically what I need from the Sena

It's not possible I'm afraid. Scala to Scala=yes. Sena to Sena=yes. Scala to Sena=No.

You can only pair the units from the same manufacturer. So scala will not pair with sena.

Scala will pair with bmw/schuberth systems as scala make all of these.
