I invested in the Sena SMH10R for me and my wife for rider/pillion and Nav IV connections.
I prefer using earbuds, and so use the optional Sena adapter cable to connect them (actually the buds from a Sony MW600 headset) to the Sena bluetooth unit. The sound is great.
My wife prefers to have speakers in the helmet and so I fitted the standard speakers that come with the Sena kit into her helmet.
It was our first chance to check out the performance of the speakers in her helmet yesterday. I am happy to report that at 135 kph she had no problems hearing me (and I her). Indeed, she initially complained that they were too loud and we had to reduce the volume.
I am impressed with the Sena kit. A big recommendation from me
