I'm fitting speakers into my Givi helmet for a summer trip.
The ear pockets are roomy enough but there is a flap of thinly padded lining in the pocket.
The velcro on the back of the speaker will hold (poorly) to this flap and the sound is ok but I'm sure they will move around and fall out from time to time. I could use sticky velcro pads direct to the shell and mount the speakers behind this flap - though this does reduce the sound slightly - or I could cut the flap away altogether to give a more secure and direct mounting - my only worry being extra noise inside the helmet if this padding has gone.

I've not fitted speakers before so was wondering if anyone had encountered anything similar.
I would normally put them in my Arai but don't fancy touring Ireland in a Cathcart Replica lid!!!
