I've been using the SRL 2 intercom for 18 months and it's very good. My only small gripe is speaker volume & wished it could be a bit louder. I have my i phone volume set to its loudest, & then control in helmet volume via the helmet unit. The in helmet speakers aren't perfectly aligned to both ears as my left ear is slightly higher than my right!

To those that have used the SRL 2 & now SRL mesh kit - are the HK speakers in the new kit significantly better (volume/bass/clarity etc) to justify upgrading, bearing in mind I primarily listen to music rather than talking to other riders.

Yep the HK speakers are excellent. No prob's with music or directions.

Anyone able to tell me if the Wonder Wheel can control the helmet volume on the SRL-Mesh and if there's a particular TFT Firmware that is needed to make that happen?

Mine does control the volume but I think its of the phone and not directly the helmet.

If I remember if you want to control volume the helmet should only be connected to the phone and phone to bike and that way the bike controls the phone volume

Mine is a 2019 GSA and didn't need a software update to do that
