Sending big files to another laptop

I have a file containing 380 tunes (1.90 gb) on my laptop.
What is the easiest and quickest way to transfer it to another laptop?

And yes I am computer thick.

edit: DavidHale's idea's better if youhave a memory stick. they're cheap anyway.
