I would expect to pay customs duty etc on the cost of the repair service but I don't want the UK repairer to have to pay customs duty on value of parts.

Anyone got an idiots guide for a once off transaction?

I've sent a shock to Denz0 from this parish . You need to declare on the customs document "Temporary export for repair". This should make sure you don't get hit with taxes duties etc. You will have to pay a fee to the relevant courier company ,post office for processing your parcel to tell you you don't need to pay any taxes duties .:green gri
