Not had the mod done yet on the bike (1200gs) but spoke to a mate of mine today who had his done last week. He was disgusted at the workmanship of the job? Left hand fork leg drilled and tapped. Sensor cable unclipped from the centre yoke down to the caliper and stretched to make up the distance to reach the new "P" clip. Which is held in place with a shxt quality stud? So he now has the cable stretched from the "P" clip up to the centre yoke with no other support? He has returned it back to original.
New bikes are fitted with the correct length of cable to allow secure clipping to the brake line as before.
Anyone else had this problem?
Because if that is the bodge that is being done I'll give it a miss.
