September 19th - 26th, Europe Camping for a week who's up for it

Yep field n dinner sounds good we can all arive as and when we want and start on a even foot. I'm likein the tunnel as it's Easy to book our own tickets and change return times if ness.

What time does it get light at the end of sept?
Just thinkin of packing up etc.

Sorry Guys, looks like I'll have to meet you at Folkestone Saturday morning as busy on Friday 'till about 8pm.

What does everyone want to do about booking the crossing? We can either book our own (risk of not all getting on the same crossing) or if you want to Paypal me, I'll book it as a group booking (or if anyone else wants to do the booking they're welcome).

We need to decide on a crossing time and get booked IMO. I can get down there by 7.30am - does an 8am crossing give you guys enough time to get packed up and get to folkestone? (I'll just be getting a quick breakie bun at the tunnel burger van).

P.S. I've had a look online at the long range forecast for Germany and the Saturday may have the odd shower, Sunday looked ok and thats as about as far as I could find. Positive thought and good luck will see us right! :Motomartin
 
Crossings Update.

Just spoke to Eurotunnel....

Said its best to book group of 6 by phone (can only do it in 2 groups of 3 bikes) if we're going to book as a group. They have availability (at moment) for 6 bikes on either 7.50am (£36) or 8.20am (£39) crossings - prices will change as availability changes.

Return crossings on the 26th about 10am are around £31 - so £70 return (+/- a couple of quid).

Its £57.50 on P&O @ 7.45 am (for 1 bike online) could not check availablity for group of 6 as phone lines very busy.

I say "Book'em Danno!"

hi fellas, i reckon i`ll get down there for 7 to 8 pm on the fri nite as i have a drop off to do on the way down. i`m good for the 8 onwards in the morning as it gives us all a little lea way for everybody, as for paying can paypal or what ever, is it worth us all agreeing by sunday ish so we are shure we all know what we`re doing:roll this ball thing is great

I'm leaving the return booking to chance as may stop out longer :clap or return sooner :drool depending on how it all goes i haven't got to be back until the Tuesday at a push so who knows :cool

I know Richard is thinking along the same lines. Baz and Paul are you going for a fixed return time/date?

dear campers, re;packing something to sleep under, something to sleep in.something to sleep on(inflateable but not with a name!!),some thing to cook with,something to eat out off,something to eat with. i dare not go in to clouths or the dreaded spare list,i just hope to all that is holy that if it all goes pearshaped that our lord almighty "VISA" will watch over us and deliver us from,well an agreed apr:mmmm

Hi Guys

I have booked the campsite for Friday for a max of six people but fewer is ok and i have booked a table for an evening meal for 9.00 pm if that is ok, so we can nosh up and have a beer before crashing in our free overnight abodes :)

Camping is free with an evening meal....

cheers paul,i`m heading to get there for 8pm so thats great, tent up,food, drink, head down,incase anyones` interested(ian) the sun rises about 6.15 at the mo,how do i know?bloody woke up this morning dying for a leak,so much for a lie in!:mad:
