I have been traveling across Russia Ukraine and Moldova and then down to Varna in Bulgaria for a rest with Friends
Next week I will go to Bucharest to get the bike serviced and then do the TransAlpina and maybe the Tranfargasan again as it was raining last year.
I would like more driving on good mountain roads to make up for boring bad straight Russian roads and have heard Serbia and Bosnia are good
Any recomendations on places or roads to visit.
Also is there still a problem with Kosovo borders as I need to pass to Macedonia after
Thanks

+1 Gavin is a top chap and will give you grand info ;)

Bosnia and Serbia both great places for the bike.

Sat here in Sarajevo typing this, 'tis a grand place :thumb2

Ahh you found your way to Sarajevo!! Check out the Underground Club... good music at weekends
Hows the Cevapi? If you are on your travels in September - we have the clubs birthday party in Novi Sad on 14th -15th Sept !

Second time back here since June.. it's a superb city

Blimey mate you are on the money.. just has Cevapi about 20 minutes ago :thumb and we are off to the Underground club later tonight..

If I'm in the region will certainly be in touch :thumb2

Sarajevo

I'd definitely agree on Bosnia and Serbia as well as Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia for excellent biking roads.

Sarajevo's superb. Been there three times on the bike in the last twelve years. On one occasion we went to a club (could have been the Underground) and as we ordered a beer the owner/dj asked where we were from. We said Liverpool and he said hold on a minute. He nipped over to the dj booth and yanked off the tune that was playing (which heartily pissed off the twenty or so people dancing to it).

Then out of the speakers came the very sweet sound of Gerry and the Pacemakers singing You'll Never Walk Alone. A priceless moment. It cleared the dance floor but gave us a big smile.
