dont settle for anything less
well i'm not a Lad... and its up to you if you take me seriously
forgive me if i'm repeating my self here....
but the f650gs is the bike i have bonded to most over my many years of riding (ok.. so i had a break to have the kids)
It is comfortable to ride, even for my smaller height, it is forgiving (except when you act like a complete tart on it i.e gravel and princetown) its easy to manouvre (on and off the bike.)
i did 2500 miles on my last bike (kawasaki) over 2 years.... i've done 8,000 miles on this bike since march this year.
me and 'wolfie' are best mates, we go almost everywhere together...
balderstons think i'm mad because i say goodbye to him when he goes for servicing and greet him when i come to take him home.
as for the single cylinder and performance and vibration....well.... it gives me the power i need for overtaking and i think the need for frequent wee stops is more likely to the fact that i've had 2 children, rather than the vibration of the saddle.....
the only downside i find is in high winds, when its handling rather 'interesting'
all in all i can only recommend that you buy one
if your partner wants to come and have a go on mine, feel free, its the lowered model (which i would not have bought if i'd known touratech do a low seat conversion)
i've got a 26" inside leg, and i can chuck it about with no problem.
but remember... if you get her a 650gs, she's got to have the panniers, tank bag , streetguard suit and colour co-ordinated helmet to go with it.
happy christmas
