"Service " due indicator

Apart from the obvious, does anyone know (or have a link to) details on how to get rid of the indicator itself ?

Dealer - pay up for a service and they'll do it for free.

Dealer - ask nicely - worth a try but don't hold your breath.

I like your style jim.

I just read that Mark hooton has offered to get rid of the service light in the past, and he is only a few hundred yards away from myself. I will mail him !
