Service due indicator

On my 2014LC, when I turn my ignition on a warning comes up that the bike is due a service in a few days. According to the manual, once it is overdue, a permanent warning will show up on the screen. Since from now on I want to do most of the simpler servicing myself, such as fluid changes, and only use a dealer for bigger jobs like valve clearances, is there a way of turning this off or resetting it?

Yes, either pay dealer
Find someone with gs911 and pay them.

Or buy a gs911 for yourself and learn who will suddenly want to be your best buddy.

You can find people on eBay with a gs911 that will clear your service lights for you
Just check around your area.
