I'm planning to service my 1150ADV SE soon (6000 mile jobbie) just wondering about these service kits?

What do you get in them?

I'm going to change the gearbox and shaft oil as well cause I doubt SPC had done it on the 600m service.

What I really wanna know is do you get all the little washers for the drain plugs in these kits.

I like the sound of Miller Classic 20-50w oil (mineral) for the change, but was wondering if it is too early to go the semi synthetic route yet?

Answers and opinions welcome.

Thanks

You can usually re-use the old washers quite a few times. it's mainly age that ruins them. The ali washers corrode.

use semi-synth. It's not at all like fully synth, perfectly safe to use in a low mileage engine.

Sherlocks do the service kits with all the little washers you need. Speak to them and they will provide exactly what you want.

Thanks for that about the washers. I re-used my old ones as i forgot to get hold of a new set. It has been playing on my mind and i am constantly checking for leaks. Non found. 12K service.
