Service Light

So I've got Motoscan on an old Android phone and the wifi dongle ELM327 which lets me connect to my 2012 twin-cam. I can read
my bike and clear fault codes etc but it won't let me reset the service indicator. Do I need to upgrade to the "PRO" version to
do the service reset ?
Yes

think it costs about 30 euros for the pro license

Thanks - £15 from the google app store. However, my ELM327 appears to be incompatible for "long messages" so going to look for
suitable adaptors - OBDlink or Unicarscan - any reasonably priced suggestions ?

never buy budget junk ODB2 dongles - will do more harm than good

you ought to own one of this quality or better if you want the world to behave like its round and spinning in the correct direction

Thanks and yes I ordered one of those this morning :)

OK now I've bought the £54 UniCarScan UCSI-2100 from bmdiag.co.uk and it arrived this morning.
I can plug into my bike & bluetooth connect my old Android phone to the new dongle, but Motoscan can't seem to talk to the bike via bluetooth.
Previously, I've been using a generic ELM327 wifi and have been able to connect to the bike ok for reading fault codes etc, but got
error messages when trying to reset the service indicator (along the lines of data string length not support by this device)
I've set the Motoscan app to Bluetooth but when I go to "test interface" it just cycles through BT1 BT2 BT3 BT4 none of which work.

Any ideas where I'm going wrong ? (iphone user so this is an old Android 'phone resurrected just to use Motoscan)

Looks like the problem is my old Android phone running Android 5. Gonna have to get a newer Android phone to get this working with Motoscan via bluetooth.
