Servicing - Coopers (Kent) or SLM

My GS will need a service before too long and living with one foot in the English Channel means that I am miles from a BMW dealer (or anything else for that matter).

My options were either Coopers at Tunbridge Wells or SLM at Caterham.

Until this week SLM were my favoured option because I had read some good things about them, but to be honest their performance this week leaves me thinking I need to go elsewhere.

Where do other geographically challenged poeple like me in Kent get their bike serviced?

I use Coopers in Tunbridge Wells. Pretty friendly bunch I have to say. I've certainly got no complaints. Give them a try??

If I remember correctly Invicta Moto from Hythe used to have his done in France somewhere. I think it worked out cheaper including the ferry price, and it was a day out too. Not sure how it weighs up now the pound/euro difference is less.

Always use him, top man goes that little bit further. Not much cheaper than main dealer but he is cheaper and you know your bikes being looked after. Does a loaner as well. Do a search on here you'll see he's well recomended.
