Quick question. Do dealers give you a written schedule (tick list or whatever) of what has been carried out during a service? Say for instance a major service, 24000 miles which covers loads of things. The reason I'm asking is that I want proof that things like the fuel filter have been changed, things you cannot see.

The dealer I used when I lived in Bristol didn't but RGM who I use now do. I am sure more dealers do than don't ??

And why not ask for the old parts....doesn't cost them anything and you can see the state of them which might give you a hint on what to look out for early as well.
