Why not use riders in cardiff, more expensive but by the time you've, got up to Hereford etc

I agree the news is shocking but you are being rather presumptive about his long term situation.

This is indeed a very sad and upsetting situation, which is very difficult to find the right words for.I like many out there have known Mike for a number of years, and am shocked and horrified by the accusations against him.
However, I don't feel anyone of us, with the limited information we have about this, are in a position to past judgement on him at this time, and in fairness, nobody has.I just hope that when the truth does come out,it is somewhat different to what we are hearing at the moment.

No judgements have been passed here. I have known Mike for many years too, and he has been good to me and looked after my bike very well in that time.

There is no doubt, however, that his business will be out of action for months (at the very least) and this is the reason I posted this thread.

There has been no discussion as to the allegations he is facing on this thread.

Nope no there has not, but I am still uncomfortable with it, lets say no more and let the system run it course.

I followed the late Gerry's recommendation and took the bike to D&R in Hereford. The workshop is a short walk to the railway station ... Most convenient. They've done a proper job for a reasonable price ... with the rail fare to and from Hereford I feel that I've still saved a fortune compared to a B*W dealer ....
