Hi - I know this is not a 12GS but I understand the systems are similar .
Anyway, a 1200RT was taken into the owners local BMW Dealer for 12000 service and a few days later the following brake problems were found :-
a. when driving along and a slight continuous pressure on the front brake lever without operating the brakes, the bike seems to gently pulsates if the brakes are going on and off.
b. When the ABS warning light is lit the brakes operate correctly but when the lamp goes out the bike goes into residual braking.
Could this be battery, sensor,servo unit overfilled, ABS unit starting to fail, brake disc warped, or the dealer screwed up somewhere ?
Any help most welcome.
