Setting up email with fast2host

Following recommendations on here i have purchased a domain name through fast2host and now i want to set up an email account or 2, but cant figure out what i need to do next. There are tutorials for configuring outlook etc, but do i not need to set up the email addresses with fast2host first ?.

Any advice appreciated.

You will need to get someone to host your email before you can do anything I don't know that company so I don't know what they provide. If you only bought a domain you will not have email. If you bought a package then you probably do. If a package then you will have to set the email up and give yourself an address. From there you will be able to connect outlook if you must. Better yet go all modern and just use the webmail. Unless your using an exchange server outlook is rubbish. With webmail your contacts, calendar and mail follow you wherever you go. It's up to you of course.

Fast2 host may point you to a control panel or cpanel. Depending what you have bought eg domain or hosting or hosting and web space and email etc. If you havnt got webspace or email then get it as your domain will be limited without it
