Silly me...
Wanting to change my 99 Blackbird early this year I took out a 1200gs and an RT on a test ride ride. Unfortunately coming from the BB the BMs seemed rattley and really under powered to the BB. Well they would wouldn't they ! And so I decided to buy another BB but on reflection given I am currently riding the BB around like I am on a 125cc ( licence ban, Speed traps cameras are all in my thoughts as I ride) I really wish I had taken the GS for a much longer ride and given myself time to get use to it. Still guess what I will be buying in 3 years time and like one of our colleagues I am a Honda man but it definitely will not be one of them.
Question why is it when you want to have your bike nicked it never happens.

Might be an idea to don body armour for that task.
Hasnt Mr GSA1150 ran out of fuel yet, been a while since he posted!
Well I'd like to tell you I've been riding my socks off, but I've only been out twice one of which was riding home from the purchase.
Now don't panic I'm totally in awe of the machine but felt i needed to spend the time available making a comfortable stable for the new stead and then of course there was the washing, preening and protecting in preparation for some serious ridng.... weathers been crap anyway
I'm pleased to say at this early stage the grin factor is a full 10!!
