Having replaced my 2013 with a 2014,

I am really pleased with the change..
Noticed Improved clutch gear box, clutch Lever can be set on level 2 and operates perfectly ..
Gear shift lever is 10mm approx shorter in relation to footpeg position,
screen is fitted with rubber bushes/rings to hopefully avoid cracking,
left bar controls omproved 'feel' in operation,
Steering damper does slow steering down a little a slow speed or really fast changes in direction, but very acceptable,

Ive not had anything other than TE spec with added a farkles.. best mods... Michelin PR4.... fantatstic improvement in ride quality and cornering agility/confidence, :thumb2

Agree with the above.
Thats my old one on the left and the new one on the right. Completely different feel, but for the better. Just need to change the plates over soon!

Only issue I've got with the PR4 with vario boxes (not expanded) @ 115 (germany) it shakes it head a real good'un, i never had this on nxt's or anakee s.

That's interesting. Have you mentioned this to Michelin?

after 4k mls done since clutch and pushrod change my bike developed same problem with clutch! gear changed from N to 1 or 1 to 2 - awful. Gears are dropping out, mostly when doing reduction from 2nd to 1st. It either jumps out to N or comes back to 2nd again!?! Reported it to my dealer via email last night to make them aware of work they need to do next week while bike is for 6k service....

Very bad news :(

How do you find the PR4 compared with RS2 DingDong?

Tbh, i think there ain't a bad tyre out there now, the nxt's don't like overbanding in the wet and the rear @ 3k needed changing, the anakee s hum ! But i wear ear plugs so could hardly hear this, the PR4 are as good in the wet as they are in the dry and the rear is still nice and round after my trip to Germany so wear rate is really good, ill get another trip out of these this month and i have another pair already to replace these so ill see if i have the same problem, only downside is the head shake with pr4 without the vario's there fine, i even put more preload on the rear with the hope it would prevent the shake but nah good. I can live with that tbh after all it's not like we travel around at that speed it was just a quick dash thro Germany .

The anakees on my watercooled are church mouse quiet, the last ones did make a loud hum over 60mph, that was on a twin cam gsa, so not all make a noise, it may be tire pressures or manufacturing tolerances, use of crudcatchers, who knows.:blagblah

To say they all make a noise is wrong, in my experience some do, some dont. The tyre pressures are slightly lower on the latest bike.

The other thing is the anakee 3 shod watercooled bike was weaving at 110mph with the boxes on in germany last week, 1 up.....2 up 137mph in france with pillion week before twas fine could have gone quicker. Think any weaving at the bars is load, weather and speed dependant, not tyres.

Ding-Dong what tyre pressures you running? :thumb

38/42

I never had this issue with my first bike and that had a dodgy frame even with vario's expanded with nxt's, on the bahn 130+ it was rock solid, however the 2014 has had a suspension upgrade from the previous 2013 model making it a little softer .
