Hi all,

I've started looking at ways to 'open up' the worldmap project so people can edit/add stuff to the maps, the intention is to build a 'bank' of tracks that people can use when editing as its super-accurate data.

To make this work I need code to read/translate all the various formats this data comes in and a sample of each to check it works properly. There are lots of things out there people use to download and precious few standards which makes it a pain in the arse.

If you download this stuff from your GPS it'd be huge help if you could share it with the project, here's how :-

- login to http://www.smellybiker.com/maps
- select 'Got Tracks ?' from the top of the page.
- fill in the form with details of your tracks file & click the upload button.

You'll need at least an eval account to be able to do this. Registering for that is free and you're welcome to a demo version of the worldmap so you can see what the project is all about.
