I have recorded tracks from the last five years holidays (using a Quest) for my own use but now the mates want to be able to see where we went.

They do not have GPS software so is there anything else I can store tracks to so they can view them

I'm pretty sure that you can save tracks as a KML file for display in Google Earth.

In fact I've just done it:
  • You'll need Google Earth and Mapsource installed
  • Open your tracks in Mapsource
  • In the View menu select the bottom option 'View in Goggle Earth'
  • Once opened in GE expand the Mapsource tree in the left pane until you see in individual tracks listed
  • Right click the track you wish to save and select 'Save Place As'
  • Select kml as 'save as type'
  • Then name and save the file to your PC

Alternatively I think you can view the tracks in GE then in the left panel highlight the file the relevant file in My Places. By default it will be called Mapsource but can be changed to your choice. Then right click the file and select the option to send the file by email to other recipients (they of course will need GE on their computers)
