I've got an evoline 2 which I'm very happy with, but it is a couple of years old now.

Has anyone owned both the series 2 & 3?

If so is the series 3 a significant step forward - in particular do you notice the weight drop, and is there any difference in sound level (I pretty much always wear earplugs for any non-town use, so that's not too important).

Also does the chin strap still use the ski-boot style clip?
I've always prefered D-rings.

Cheers in advance,

G

I have had one, two and three!

Do I notice the weight drop, not really, three is much better than one but only a small improvement over one.

IF I was buying today I would be considering the new Roof Desmo too although the Evo is still my default helmet. As winter arrives my Multitech will take over but then again I really need a Neotech now as that has the visor.

Seat buckle stle by the way, I dont mind then tbh

Just had my Evoline 3 serviced. Visor was fogging and helmet was leaking. They basically rebuilt the helmet and replaced everything including a new sun shield. Top marks for service from Shark.

My Evo3 has a ratcheting ski boot style fastener, had Arai full face before, really like the flip front and tend to have it open most of the time. Did have problem with chin bar not fastening on LHS, Get Gearded Leeds sent it back to Shark who replaced the entire chin bar - great service (helmet bought in a shop in Newcastle)
Have noticed that it is noisier with the in full-face mode.

My visor rains in a heck of a lot, basically makes it unusable in rain - is yours now raintight and shipshape?
